Odor Treatment Portland
Smoking in a car is bad. It's not just bad for you, it's bad for your car. You're filling the air inside with smoke and tar, which can do damage to the interior of your vehicle. ( Fabric Seats, Carpets, Headlining, Dashboard )
We've all been there: you're driving along, and suddenly you smell something burning. Maybe you've noticed a little bit of smoke coming from your dashboard and thought "oh, that's weird," but then it just goes away. What are we talking about here? A cigarette butt in your ashtray?
No—it's much worse than that. Smoking in cars can seriously impact your vehicle's health, and even cause it to break down altogether.
The two main determinants of the amount of odor we can eliminate are how much and for how long it was smoked.
It will be tougher and take longer for us to get rid of the smell to a level that is acceptable the longer (and more severe) the smoking occurred inside. Sadly, our prospects of completely eliminating it are slim if it is a severe condition brought on by years of excessive smoking.
At that point, we can undoubtedly lessen the smoke smell; but, replacing some of the fabric materials, such as the headliner, carpets, and floor mats, would be necessary to completely eliminate the smoky smell.

The seats, carpet, floor mats, seat belts, and, if practical, the headliner will be shampooed using our hot water extractor and a tobacco-specific cleanser.
4
Clean all windows and mirrors
For a streak-free look, every inside window and mirror will be cleaned to remove smoke residue.
5
Fully dry interior
The interior has to be entirely dry before we can move forward.
6
Start the ozone treatment
Depending on the situation, normally we'll run the treatment for 1 hour. For extreme cases, we provide extended use of our ozone treatment for up to 4 hours if needed. Anything in extreme/dire cases will need a special quote.
It is essentially necessary to replace your cabin air filter. The stored smoke odor in the filter will immediately recirculate back into the interior if you continue to use the old one, even after we complete the entire odor elimination process.

FAQs: Smoke Odor Removal
Can you ensure the smell will be eliminated?
It largely depends on the interior's state and how strong the smoke smell is. It is always our intention to get rid of as much of it as we can, if at all possible.
Could this be done at my house or apartment?
Yes, we’re a fully-contained mobile detailing unit. We can perform the wash at your home or apartment. All we need is a water spout and electrical outlet to perform the detail on your car.
We also service all of Portland, Lake Oswego, Bethany, Beaverton, Tigard, Hillsboro, and Vancouver, WA areas. We can even expand to further areas, so please don’t hesitate to ask.
What products do you use?
We utilize specialized tools and chemicals to neutralize, lessen, and completely get rid of the smoke odor. This goes beyond simply cleaning the fabric surfaces with a common degreaser or steam cleaner. Each action we take is intended to help us reach our ultimate objective.
Can you get rid of each stain?
Some stains will come off more easily than others, depending on their nature and the material they are on. Even with our considerable expertise, experience, and use of the best products, tools, and equipment, stains can only be removed if they have been there for a long enough period of time.
