Car Paint Correction (Level 2)
Get Rid of the Swirls to Increase Gloss and Clarity in Your Paint
Our Level 2 paint correction service aims to eliminate up to 85% of your paint's swirls, scratches, and other flaws. To maximize the shine and clarity of your paintwork, we perform a 2-step correction at this point, which involves intensive cutting and polishing.
Depending on your health, certain scratches won't be completely visible whether the car is new or not. It's possible that the scratches are too deep to properly remove or that the clear coat is thinning down (we'll measure the paint before we begin).
Here, we will properly assess what we can safely remove from your paint. It's not only about getting rid of as many flaws as possible. To maintain the integrity of the paint and keep it within healthy working limits, it's also important to know when enough is enough.
And yes, even 4 months after leaving the dealership, the paint on newer cars may still need a 2-step correction service. Even though you've only possessed the car for a short while, it has been moved and handled by numerous persons for a long time (in many different places).
The vehicle is moved, transported, cleaned, stored, etc. during this time. It comes as no surprise that all makes and models of vehicles have significant swirls and flaws when they leave the showroom.
You are committing to the car by getting Level 2 paint correction. After the service is finished, you must properly maintain the vehicle if you want to keep the shine on your paint. In just a few washes, you can easily bring all those swirls and scratches back into your paint if you don't properly wash and dry the car.
Our Level 1 polishing or Wash and Wax is also a fantastic alternative if you're selling your car and want to prepare the paint for potential purchasers.

FAQs: Squeegee’s Paint Correction (Level 2)
Do you offer ceramic coatings?
Absolutely! The product is applied to the vehicle's exterior paint, plastic trim, windows, and rims. 2 - 5 years with proper maintenance. The price will vary depending on condition of the vehicle's paint, color of vehicle, and the vehicle size. You are also free to stick with the more conventional wax or sealant.
Do you come to me?
Yes, we’re a fully-contained mobile detailing unit. We can perform the wash at your home or apartment. All we need is a water spout and electrical outlet to perform the detail on your car.
We also service all of Portland, Lake Oswego, Bethany, Beaverton, Tigard, and Hillsboro areas. We are even able to expand out to further areas, so please don’t hesitate to ask.
How long do the results last?
This is an "it depends" type of response. It all depends on how well you keep the car once the paint has been polished. You can easily return to square one in a matter of weeks if you wash it in a $5 car wash.
When you wash and dry your car properly, the results will last far longer than when you wash it with a dirty towel and water.
What tools and products do you use?
To work on your car, a variety of tools including machines, pads, compounds, cleaners, towels, and lights will be used. Every car will be unique and produce unique tools and procedures.
What’s the difference between a wax and paint correction?
Any scratches or swirls in your paint cannot be fixed by waxing. It simply takes a few hours to complete and only conceals very slight swirls. The swirls in your paint are actually removed by paint repair. This is what gives the paint its dazzling sheen. It also consumes a lot of time and effort to accomplish. usually one or two days in length (depending on size, condition, and desired results).
